Cycle4Success Program
The program will provide ten scholarships for minority youth aged 10-14 years old and will run for approximately six months from late August through February. It will include weekly rides and culminate with participation in the KASK Winter Short Track series held in Rock Hill, SC.
The riders will receive professional coaching and learn skills development and bike safety, as well as have access to gear and complimentary registration fees.
At the end of the program, in partnership with Trips for Kids and the Charlotte Recyclery, riders will be able to “Earn a Bike” through volunteer hours that will allow them to continue their bike education and learn how to properly care for and maintain their bike.

Creating Access
-
Skills Development
One of the most important ingredients to becoming a successful rider is self-confidence. Believing that you can "do it" is key.
Our program focuses on developing the rider's confidence through a progressive, step-by-step approach where fundamentals of good riding technique are instructed and reviewed consistently until they become second nature.
-
Gear
Bikes and gear are expensive.. However having the appropriate gear for mountain biking can make a big difference and improve safety, comfort, performance, and enjoyment.
We want all riders to have an exceptional experience and we will provide top-tier equipment for use, which will be maintained on an ongoing basis.
